Agios Prokopios is reputed to be one of the best beaches in Naxos. It is a well organised very long (over 1 Km) golden sandy beach with umbrellas and sunbeds. At the northern end of the beach the hill protects the beach from the north winds. Further south there are trees which provide visitors with shade.

Near the beach there is a wide range of hotels, mini-markets, taverns, restaurants, bars, clubs, and souvenir shops.
